Sarah Capsolas, MSWI
I’ve been helping people create lasting changes in their lives for 24 years. Beginning my journey as a yoga therapist set the foundation for my work in trauma-informed advocacy for those who are struggling to make sense of who they are and who they hope to become.
Improving our lives for the better can be a long and lonely road. Yet, I have repeatedly witnessed the strength of those who stand up again and again—not allowing their histories to define their futures. I have such deep respect for anyone still choosing to try. I feel honored to witness the journey, regardless of the outcome.
What to expect:
I am eclectic. I lead with curiosity, then offer you my toolbox of therapeutic options I’ve nerdily gathered from experience and research. Then you choose which evidence-based path to explore. I am honored to walk the path of your journey toward healing as the guide, but you choose the depth, timing, pacing, and level of effort. I’ll meet you wherever you are on the path; we all need different things at different times. I recognize that life is ever-changing and often quite messy. It rarely fits into a pre-planned box, so I only have three rules I live by: 1) safety first; 2) integrity matters; and 3) choice and accountability. All other ideas and additions are welcomed and negotiable. We can consult, and you decide what will work for you in therapy.
