What to Expect

EMDR Therapy Intensives allow deep, uninterrupted work tailored to your goals. They typically last 4-6 hours per day over 1-3 days, with a thorough assessment at the start to create a personalized treatment plan. During your intensive, you’ll be Dr. Murphy’s sole focus, allowing for fully dedicated time and attention.

Investment and Options

EMDR Therapy Intensives are a valuable investment in your well-being, with formats including:
  • Extended EMDR Theraspy Sessions (2-4 hours): $250/hr
  • Half Day Intensive (4 hrs): $1000/day
  • Full Day Intensive (6hrs): $1500/day
  • Single Issue Intensive (4-6 hours/day for 1-3 days): Ideal for specific goals or recent events
  • Story Clearing Intensive (3-5 days, 4-6 hours/day): For complex or long-standing issues

Additional Details

  • Payment: Intensives are not covered by insurance. Intensives my be paid by Cash, Zelle or Credit Card (3.1% service fee for cards)
  • Booking: A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at time of booking, with full payment due the day before your intensive begins.
  • Location: Available in a private office setting in Upland for extended sessions, a retreat-like mountain setting in Running Springs for single issue or story clearing intensives, or virtually for clients in all areas of California and Idaho.
