I first started an early career as an elementary school Art Teacher within weeks of the traumatic 9/11 events. Since then, my mission has been to learn and help others process the emotional and somatic effects of trauma/stress on the immune system, neurodevelopment (brain) and attachment. In session, clients re-build a compassionate relationship between their mind and body by making creative connections with their physical and emotional pain using my specialization in Art Therapy and psychotherapy. My dream is to travel the world to learn more about healing/wellness across cultures and someday provide humanitarian mental health. Healing is a process and I am honored to be at the start of this new journey with you.
“It's not just about creativity, it is about the person you're becoming while you're creating." -Charlie Peacock |
