I believe in the whole person's well-being and the lifelong importance of striving for balance created by knowing personal acceptance and tranquility. My focus in therapy is providing support and guidance in a non-judgmental atmosphere that promotes personal growth and exploration. I have experience working with individuals that range in age from early childhood to later stages of adulthood and the unique issues that can arise in all stages of life, whether it be anxiety and/or depression to panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. I find it important to note that while my education and professional experience have garnered a better understanding of mental health, my struggles with anxiety and panic disorder have allowed me an even deeper grasp on the impact such issues can have on an individual. My goal for any client is simple: to be a helping partner in creating an environment of well-being.
I have extensive experience in the field of foster care work as both a social work case manager and a clinician providing mental health support. I have provided support to foster children and their biological families as a clinician.
